Formula 1 has officially confirmed a schedule change for the Miami Grand Prix following discussions between the FIA, F1, and event organizers. The race start time has been adjusted from the originally planned 4:00 PM local time to 1:00 PM local time (which corresponds to 1:00 AM Beijing time on May 4th).
This decision was prompted by weather forecasts indicating a high likelihood of heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Miami area around the original race time.
In the qualifying session held earlier, Andrea Kimi Antonelli secured pole position, with Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc finishing second and third respectively.
