Fluminense is enduring a turbulent spell this season. Below-par performances in both the Brazilian Championship and the Libertadores have strained the relationship between the fans and the team. In their last match at the Maracanã, coach Luis Zubeldía faced criticism from supporters.
The defensive setup, partially rested for the clash against Vitória, is expected to return at full strength for the encounter with the Paraná side.
